Made by a mum, for every mum
(and dad, and carer, and grandparent)

Cubs Closet started with a simple frustration — finding kids' clothes that were affordable, gender-neutral, and actually good for the planet shouldn't be this hard. So I stopped looking and started making them.

Hi, I'm Nic (Nicole, Knickers, Noodle or Mumma)

I'm a mum of three and the founder, designer, packer, emailer, and everything-in-between at Cubs Closet. I started this business because I kept running into the same wall: kids' clothing that was either affordable or ethical but rarely both.

I wanted easy, values-aligned basics that worked for real life. Pieces that could handle a sandpit, a supermarket run, and a hand-me-down to the next sibling. So I designed them myself.

Cubs Closet is a small South Australian business and I'm proud of every single thing we make.

Certified Cottons

Our cotton is certified GOTS organic or OEKO-TEX from farm to finished garment no nasty chemicals, ever.

Ethical production

Made in a factory with fair wages and safe conditions. We ask the hard questions and only work with factories that meet our standards.

Gender-neutral design

Colours and cuts made to mix, match, and hand down freely. No "boys" or "girls" labels here.

Built to last

Wash-tested and pre-shrunk. Designed to outlast the season and the next kid who wears it.

"Ethical and sustainable kidswear should be something for everyone, not just a premium you pay for feeling good. That's what Cubs Closet is here to change."
