Cubs Closet started with a simple frustration — finding kids' clothes that were affordable, gender-neutral, and actually good for the planet shouldn't be this hard. So I stopped looking and started making them.
Hi, I'm Nic (Nicole, Knickers, Noodle or Mumma)
I'm a mum of three and the founder, designer, packer, emailer, and everything-in-between at Cubs Closet. I started this business because I kept running into the same wall: kids' clothing that was either affordable or ethical but rarely both.
I wanted easy, values-aligned basics that worked for real life. Pieces that could handle a sandpit, a supermarket run, and a hand-me-down to the next sibling. So I designed them myself.
Cubs Closet is a small South Australian business and I'm proud of every single thing we make.
All measurements in centimetres (cm). If your child is between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Stand your child against a flat wall without shoes and measure from the floor up.
Wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of the chest, parallel to the floor.
Measure just above the belly button. Leave a little breathing room.
Our pieces are cut relaxed for movement and play. When in doubt, size up.
