I'm not much for mystery or manufactured hype. So instead of vague teaser posts and countdown clocks, here's an honest update on where we're at and what's coming.
New colourways
We're working on the next seasonal palette right now. I can say that it's warmer and slightly bolder than what we've done before, and I'm genuinely excited about it. The colour-testing process is underway and the swatches on my desk are making me very happy.
More sizes
One of the most common requests we get is for a wider size range. We're working on it. It's not as simple as just scaling patterns up, but we're committed to getting it right rather than rushing it. Watch this space.
Staying focused on basics
I want to be honest about something: we are not going to become a brand that does everything. Cubs Closet will stay focused on basics done really well. That's not a limitation, it's a choice. The best wardrobes are built on great basics, and that's what we do.
The blog
This one is something I've wanted to do for a while. A place to talk honestly about the things that matter to our customers: sustainability, parenting, how to dress kids without losing your mind. We're just getting started here and I'm looking forward to it.
Staying small (on purpose)
Cubs Closet is a small business and I'm not in a rush to change that. Small means we can stay close to what we're making, keep quality high, and actually respond when someone emails us. That matters to me.
